With another recession looming the People's Assembly has invited an economist from the New Economics Foundation to lead a round table discussion on the big questions facing our generation.
Is another crash coming (if it hasn't already by 9 March)?
Is growth really necessary?
Could green jobs revive a flagging economy?
What is the future of work in the networked age?
The discussion will be led by Alice Martin, a researcher at NEF. Before joining NEF Alice completed a Joint MA in Contemporary European Philosophy held between the Centre for Research into Modern European Philosophy (CRMEP) at Kingston University and UniversitΓ© Paris-VIII. She is a trustee and organiser for Rethinking Economics, a student-led movement transforming economics education to make it critical and relevant for more people.
