After the phenomenally successful People's March for the NHS through Notts last year they're back to make sure the NHS is a major issue during this election. The main parties want to fight out the election on the economy, without mentioning the radical reforms this government have introduced and the widespread privatisation of our health service.
The People's March for the NHS brought the issue of privatisation to villages, towns and cities the length of the country last year when they retraced the Jarrow march. In Nottingham over 1,000 people came to march with them through the county and city. The video below is reminder of the fantastic few days marching.
The marchers are back for one day on Saturday 28 August to make sure the NHS is brought back in to public ownership in its entirety after the election. Whose NHS? Our NHS!
